Justification for changes
22/3/09
Changed dates on plan of action as more information had come to light and documents had taken longer then anticipated completing. For example, drawing up initial designs, I thought I would be finishing them off in the week ending 27 march, but because I hadn’t had time to start them the week before I had to start them in that week. Also I thought that I would have a meeting with my client in the week ending 27 march but that never happened so taking designs and survey to client was delayed a week. Which also pushed back most of the site a week. I also realised my site would take longer then I had previously thought to code so that is also why the final date is 3 weeks later in the second plan of action.
25/5/09
Significant Changes to dates have again happened as I have realised that the ones that were included in the plan of action on 22 March will not be achievable and have already passed for some of them. The 26 June is now the end date as I have realised that the coding will take longer then I anticipated. At this point I have still not got back my survey results which I had expected back earlier. As a result of this the dates for everything have had to be put back a while as the survey impacts the key factors, and what I decide to prioritise in my project.
29/7/09
Changed the border on the website from a solid white border to one that fades from a light grey to black. Reason for doing this is I had initially stated to the client I was going to make the border look similar to this, with rounded edges and such. Another reason for this is I feel it looks better and makes the site look more professional overall.
6/8/09
Changed dates again as they were unrealistic.
Completion date is now 11 September, with site being uploaded a week later on the 18th. This change has arisen from me taking longer then expected to do things, as holidays have come and other projects have impeded on the time I spend on this project. Also the school production in the first week of term meant that I didn’t have much time that week to work on it. Exams are coming up so I have included time for that, as I expect I wont be doing much work during this time.

Problem
I will continue to work on fixing up work i have missed.
This is just an update on the site as it is to date. I have found that the CSS i am using, although fully complient with web standards, is very current and will therefore not show up on older browsers such as IE7 and Firefox 2. The problem is the border i have implemented doesn't show and the page then just looks very bland and outdated. Also the font Calabri doesn't seem to show on a few computers, will need to think of a fallback one.
I am working to fix this and will hopefully have a solution within the week.
