Initial Questions / Plan Of action

These are the questions i will be asking at our first meeting on saturday the 28th of February:

1)What do you want the site to do?

2)When would you like the site done by?
3)Can I use any existing images/logo's from the old website on the new website?
4)How often do you want to meet to discuss progress?
5)Do you have any specific requirements for the site?

Here is my Plan of Action:

- Have initial Meeing, Discuss details for website and what is needed. Figure out dates and how often meetings will take place

-After meeting Draw Up brief and send that to the company after checking it with Mr Olsen for approval

-After Brief has been done, initial designs for site can be made and details such as colour schemes and fonts will be discussed

-Bring foward 3 Designs for company and see which one they choose

-Start making website and planning how the code will work with structure diagrams and such

-Test the code on webserver at home and see how the order process will work

-Show company progress and give them regular updates on how i am doing

-Do RC1 website and see if the company likes it

-After RC1 iron out bugs and make changes as required

-Publish final website and hand over to company. Show the people required how to maintain the site and give contact details for support on it

· key factors and
· a plan of action.
Each of these is expected to change as a) more information comes to light and b) you progress through your project. Do not delay your start!

First contact

I have confirmed that i will be making a website for costume hire company "in disguise"
I will have my first meeting on friday the 27th of Feb and in that meeting i will work out the following details:
- What will go in the website
- What style they want the website to be in
- How often we will have meetings
- What they want the website to do

They have a website already but i will not be using anything from it, apart from their logo.
